PixaRt

Pixar artist Josh Cooley’s book, Movies R Fun, takes classic scenes and moments from adult cinema and retools them in the style of pages from a children’s book. While on the surface this might be dismissible as neat-but-throwaway pop memorabilia, there’s a true talent and black humourist at work here. Each are accurate caricatures of the famous characters, but wonderfully skewed through the distinctive Pixar style, and the flat nature of the captions combined with the bold images are often hilarious. Here are some samples from what’s undoubtably a great collection.
